Banana Split

This piece was originally intended to be a traditional work on solid aspen. Unfortunately, my lack of experience working with acrylics & ink together caused me to varnish it prematurely... resulting in a lot of smearing. Luckily, I photographed the lineart before I started painting... so what you see here is basically the original lineart that I drew on the wood.

I had this idea in my head for a LONG time... but it was one of Alexandra Merino's costumes that inspired me to go through with it. fav.me/d23yjxh
