Cherokee for "deer".

My biggest piece yet... painted on oak using stains, ink watercolor and coffee. 36"x53"

This is perfect. It's like one more element would have been too much and one less would have been not enough. It's so balanced and has so many little interesting places for the eye to rest. I've never thought of using watercolor on wood. Does it take a lot of layers for the color to really show?

Hot damn! I am so impressed by your ability to use stain! These look so natural and elegant. All the curvy lines are something that you always manage so well, not to mention color combinations and just fucking awesome work :D

Hope you get a chance to see these in-person someday... the photos don't do them justice at all IMO. One of these days I'll have a professional photograph them... hopefully that comes out more true.

I know what you mean. The cameras I have never seem to capture things just right.
I would LOVE to see these in real life, if you ever have a show in St.Louis I will be the first in line!

Really glad to see new stuff from you, we LOVE your style.
There's loads of fantastic artists on DA, but you're one of those with an unmistakably, unique style!

You are welcome! (sorry for the late reply!)
To be honest I think it's hard to compete with guys like you. You are really talented, not only incredible skilled.

I need only to find a good idea and excuse to use your art in a videogame. That game will be amazing with your skill !!!

Have a good day !!!

Beautiful! Love that there is a blend of neutral colors but it still has fabulous contrast.

It always amazes me how your traditional and digital art have the same feel to it.

Weird how that happened huh? I think I just got so attached and used to my digital style that I ended up using the same basic process and techniques to do traditional stuff.

One of these days I'd like to do some experimenting with some "looser" stuff instead of the "tightness" that I'm used to... if that makes sense in an artistic way without being distracted by the obvious possible innuendos.

Thanks Dancy! Always appreciate your support.
